Houston Eye Associates is excited to welcome Chase M. Wilson, M.D. to our outstanding group of physicians.
Dr. Chase M. Wilson grew up in Monroe, Louisiana. He graduated summa cum laude from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology. He began his journey in medicine at Louisiana State University Health Shreveport in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University Health Shreveport where he served as Chief Resident in his senior year and was awarded Senior Resident Teacher of the Year by his peers. During his time at LSU, Dr. Wilson led and participated in several ophthalmology research projects and presentations. He and his wife then returned to her home of Houston, Texas, and joined Houston Eye Associates.
Dr. Wilson is a general ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes, dry eyes, and refractive needs, as well as many other ocular complaints. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Medical Association.
During his free time, Dr. Wilson is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys traveling with his wife, cooking, golfing, and exercising.
