Scheduling Your Surgery
Your doctor will provide you with the date and arrival time of your surgery. The doctor’s office provides surgery center staff with your surgical case information. Please make sure that your doctor has your current contact information in the event the surgery center needs to contact you prior to your surgery.
- List of all medications you are taking including their dosage and frequency.
- List of surgeries within the past 10 years that have required anesthesia.
- Name and phone number of the responsible adult (18 years or older) that will be driving you home after your surgery.
Preparing for Surgery
We want the day of your surgery to be a seamless experience, where you can simply walk in, check in at our front desk, and be shown to your room rather than fill out pages of paperwork. The HEA Surgery Center uses SIS Charts to access the forms you will need to complete prior to your surgery. SIS Charts will be sending you a link to complete the necessary forms to complete at your convenience. You must complete these forms prior to your surgery to avoid having your surgery delayed, postponed, or rescheduled. Our pre-operative nurse will call you the day before your surgery to review each of the forms with you. If you are having issues completing any of these forms, the pre-operative call nurse may be reached at (832) 553-7166. Learn more on our Preparing for Surgery Guide.

After Your Surgery
Offering easy to understand recovery instructions for you and your family is our priority. An adult driver must be present to bring you home safely after your procedure. The driver must always be available by phone during this time. Read through our Recovery Guide for more important information.
