Dr. Yim’s journey in the field of optometry began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas. He later pursued his Doctorate Degree at NSU College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he honed his skills and knowledge in the world of optometry.
Dr. Yim is a board-licensed therapeutic optometrist with a specialization in various areas of eye care. His expertise includes fitting specialty contact lenses for irregular corneas, addressing dry eye conditions, and managing myopia. In addition to these specialized services, he offers primary care exams, diabetic eye exams, and tailored eye care for his patients.
Beyond his professional commitments, Dr. Yim is a devoted enthusiast of the Houston Rockets and enjoys sharing his eagerness for the team with the community.
