Dr. Mary Morales is a native Houstonian who graduated from Milby High School as the most outstanding senior girl in her class. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Optometry from the University of Houston and received her Doctorate Degree in 1996 from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Dr. Morales joined Houston Eye Associates in 2014 with 18 years of experience as a board-licensed Doctor of Optometry and after 10 years of owning and operating her own private optometric practice. She has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston College of Optometry. Dr. Morales is a Therapeutic Optometrist, Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, and Contact Lens Specialist. She has extensive experience in primary eye care, diabetes, and specialty contact lenses for the correction of keratoconus, dry eyes, post-graft, and irregular corneas. Dr. Morales also offers diabetic eye exams and specialty contact lens exams for the correction of keratoconus, dry eyes, post-graft, and irregular corneas. In 2009, Dr. Morales was named “One of the Best Doctors in Houston” by H Texas Magazine. She has also been recognized as a Top Optometrist in the 2020 Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare and as Top Optometrist in the 2020 Top Ophthalmologist. Dr. Morales is a proud 28-year member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the AOA, the Texas Optometric Association (TOA), and the Scleral Contact Lens Society. Dr. Morales is committed to providing personal and advanced eye care.
Dr. Morales and her husband have been married for 31 years. They have two boys and reside in Pearland, TX. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling, camping, spending time outdoors, and attending sporting events.
